Before becoming the Assistant Principal at Northern Middle School in 2023, Mr. McArdle taught Social Studies at the West Shore School District and coached swimming and volleyball.

Nolan graduated from Messiah College with a degree in History and a certification in secondary education; and completed his Master’s Degree in School Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.  

Nolan lives Carlisle with his wife Katie, a 7th grade English teacher in the West Shore School District, his dog Linus, and cat Elaine. In his spare time Nolan enjoys training and competing in triathlons, reading, and routing on the Buffalo Bills.
