Before becoming Principal at Northern Middle School in July of 2023, Troy served as Assistant Principal at NMS for nine years. Troy also served as the Supervisor of Online and Alternative Education for Northern for two years. Prior to that position, he taught 7th grade mathematics for eight years.
Troy graduated from Messiah College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and completed his Master’s Degree in School Administration from Shippensburg University. He earned his Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility and is working on his doctorate degree from Shippensburg and Millersville Universities.
Along with his wife, Bethany and daughters, Camryn, Sadie, and Blakely, he is a resident of Dillsburg and loves being a part of the local community. Outside of school, Troy enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, and playing sports. "I love working with middle school students and their families!"
